The extension runs locally in your browser. It only modifies the visible YouTube page by hiding Shorts-related elements from the homepage and subscriptions feed.

The extension does not use analytics, tracking, cookies, remote servers, external APIs, or remote code.

The extension does not collect:

• Personally identifiable information
• Browsing history
• YouTube account information
• Search queries
• Page content
• Location data
• Authentication information
• Financial information
• Health information
• Personal communications

All extension code is packaged inside the extension. No user data leaves the browser.

No Shorts for YouTube is an independent extension and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
